Resident of Hartville for a short time, moving from Mansfield Garlin Leroy Johnson, 73 years, passed away on April 13, 2009 at Hartville, with his family by his side.
Garlin was born March 28, 1936 in Omaha, Ark., to Carl and Mamie (Stevens) Johnson.
He was a resident of Hartville for a short time, moving from Mansfield.
Garlin is survived by three children, Annette Liles and husband, Roy, Glendora Moore and husband, Kenneth, all of Hartville, and Kevin Johnson, Mtn. Grove; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Millie Waddell, and one brother, John Atkisson, both of Liberty, Mo.; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be today (Thursday, April 16) at 10 a.m. at Mountain Valley Cemetery, Mountain Grove, with Pastor Joel Childers officiating. Services are under direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home of Ava.
