A longtime resident of Douglas County and Breedon Roscoe Wilkie Peacock, 81, of Ava, was born June 10, 1927, in Pratt, Kan. He departed this life March 31, 2009, in St. John’s Hospital, Springfield.
Roscoe was a longtime resident of Douglas County and the Breedon community. He was a truck driver and machinist. He was always willing to help anyone. His sense of humor will be missed by his neighbors and friends.
Private services will be conducted at a later date. All arrangements were under the care and direction of Ava Family Funeral Home.
