Tayler Allen Andrews, 9 Months Mary Lee Burchell, 24 years, and her baby son, Tayler Allen Andrews, 9 months, passed to heaven on March 16, 2009 at Ava, Mo.
Mary was born April 14, 1984 in Springfield, Mo., to Edmond and Carol (Darby) Burchell. Tayler Allen Andrews was born to Mary Lee Burchell on June 16, 2008 in Houston, Mo.
Mary was a life long resident of the Ava community. Mary had obtained her GED education certificate. She worked as a waitress at the Highway House Cafe in Ava and loved being a mother. She attended the Red Bank Baptist Church.
Mary was preceded by her father, Edmond Burchell and mother, Carol Ann (Darby) Phillips, and baby son, Tayler Allen Andrews.
Mary and baby Tayler are survived by her adopted father (grandfather), Donald Phillips, Ava; and two sisters (aunts), Amy Burchell and Crystal Phillips, both of Ava. Baby Tayler is also survived by his father, Dan Andrews, Ava; paternal grandparents, Donna and Landon Fleetwood, Ava; paternal grandfather, Wade Andrews, Jefferson City, Mo.; paternal great-grandmother, Dora McBrayer; aunt, Tammy Andrews; three uncles, Earl, Bill and Edward McBrayer; many other aunts and uncles, several cousins and other relatives and friends.
Graveside services for Mary and baby son, Tayler, will be today (Thursday, March 19) at 2 p.m. at Arno Cemetery, Ava, with the Rev. Oren Alcorn officiating. A fund has been established at Century Bank in the name of Amy Burchell to help the family with funeral expenses.
