Elizabeth Jean Paul, 77


Jean enjoyed her daughters and family outings Elizabeth Jean Paul, 77 years, passed to heaven on March 6, 2009 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare. Jean was born May 5, 1931 in Stet, Mo., to Lena Forsom.

On Feb. 28, 1952, Jean and Durward M. Paul were united in marriage in Harrison, Ark., and to this union four children were born. She was a housewife.

Jean enjoyed shopping with her daughters and enjoyed family outings. Jean loved being with all her family and especially the grandchildren. She was a member of the Girdner Church.

Jean was preceded by her parents; husband, Durward Paul in 1998; a son, Edward Paul; son-in-law, Gary Wilson; one brother and two sisters.

Jean is survived by three children and their spouses, Pamela and Paul Potter, Squires, Mo., Robert “Bobby” and Linda Paul, Ava, Mo., and Brenda Wilson, Ava, Mo.; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Maxine Wormsley and Marilyn Hale, both of Harrisonville, Mo.; two special nieces, Dian Mosier, Independence, Mo., and Claudetta McCorkendale, Richmond, Mo.; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Jean were Monday, March 9, at 10 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, with burial in the Girdner Cemetery. Officiating was the Rev. Dwight Wilson. Memorials may be made to the Girdner Cemetery. Online condolences may be made to www.clinkingbeardfuneralhome. com.
