A resident of the Ava community for several years Moses Theodore “Ted” Laughlin, son of Ernest T. Laughlin and Frances Geneva (Rose) Laughlin, was born on Dec. 1, 1943 in Nowata, Okla., and passed away on Feb. 23, 2009 at St. John’s Hospital, Springfield, at the age of 65 years 2 months and 22 days.
Ted was a resident of the Ava community for several years. He was an electrical engineer for Emerson Electric in Rogers, Ark., and Ava.
Services will be Friday, Feb. 27, at 1 p.m. at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, with Pastor Les Hallmark officiating. Interment will be in the Laughlin Family Cemetery, Ava.
