
She had a big heart, always helping someone in need Marian Sue Bruce, 58 years, passed to heaven on Feb. 22, 2009 at Fontana, Calif. Marian was born Aug. 13, 1950 in Hominy, Okla., to Marian and Delilah (Lemmons) Hull.
Marian was employed as a Corrections Officer. Sue and “Chuck” Bruce III were united in marriage on Sept. 23, 1976 in Las Vegas, Nev.
Sue delighted in fishing, swimming, cooking and loved going to church. She was a devoted Christian. She had a big heart and was always helping someone in need. Sue enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and all her family. She will be greatly missed.
Marian was preceded by father, Marian Joseph Hull; her husband, Charles Ballard “Chuck” Bruce III; a nephew, Steven Vasquez; stepbrother, Matthew Hull; stepsister, Lesta Hull, and an infant brother, Bobby Hull.
Marian is survived by her mother and stepfather, Delilah Janet and Jack Hunziker, Fontana, Calif.; four children and their spouses, Kenneth and Shallan Bruce, Squires, Mo., Kim J. Bruce, Ozark, Mo., Tammy (Bruce) and Ron May, Fair Play, Mo., Michael and Michelle Bruce, Mtn. Grove, Mo.; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ralph Hull, Mansfield, Mo., and Bill Hull, Cabool, Mo.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services for Sue will be Tuesday, March 3, at 10 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, with burial in the Denney Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, March 2, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. The family requests memorials to the donor’s choice of charity.
