A resident of Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare, Ava Edna Leona. Springer, 86 years, passed to heaven on Feb. 16, 2009 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare, Ava, Mo.
Edna was born Nov. 18, 1922 in Steele City, Neb., to Fred and Levina (Cockell) Fuqua.
Edna was an inspector for a cooking equipment company. She was a Baptist.
Edna was preceded by her parents and husband, Bill Springer Sr., in September 1977.
Edna is survived by a son, Bill Springer and wife, Helen, Squires, Mo.; a grandson, Mark and his wife, Melanie, of Squires, Mo.; and a granddaughter, Sharon Springer, of Raytown, Mo.; two great-grandchildren, Joshua and Brandy; and also three great-great-grandchildren, Joshua, Kaylee, and Skylar.
Graveside services for Edna were Wednesday, Feb. 18, at 2 p.m. at Floral Hills Cemetery, Kansas City, Mo. Online condolences may be made to www.clinkingbeard funeralhome.com. Services were conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava.
