Son of Charles Gifford and Mary (Keele) Gifford Paul E. “Fuzzy” Gifford, the son of Charles Gifford and Mary (Keele) Gifford, was born Sept. 19, 1936 in Salt Lake City, Utah, and departed this life Jan. 1, 2009, at the age of 72 years 3 months and 12 days.
Memorial services were held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, with the Rev. Oren Alcorn officiating.
He is survived by two sons, Charles Gifford, state of Arkansas, and Kenneth Gifford, state of Iowa; one daughter, Cindy Tate, Ava; two grandchildren, Brandi and Tyler of Ava; a great-grandchild, Aidan, all of Ava; three sisters, Ellen Moody, Long Mont, Colo., and Clarice Williams and Priscilla Bowers, both of Springfield; one brother, Joe Keele, Cody, Wyo.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
