Of Gassville, Arkansas John Marshall Jones, Gassville, Ark., son of Wendell Marshall and Tena Hazel (Snelson) Jones, was born Dec. 2, 1938 in Holly, Colo., and passed away Jan. 4, 2009 in Mountain Home, Ark., at the age of 70 years.
On April 24, 1972 he married Charlene (Zanzig) Lee in Lakeview, Ark.
He is survived by his wife Charlene of the home in Gassville, Ark.; one step-son Christopher Lee of Valparaiso, Ind.; three grandchildren; and two sisters Maxine Stewart, of Blue Springs, and Gloria Evans, of Noble.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville. Interment was in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
