His survivors include his mother, Kayla Phillips and father, Joseph Andrew Smith, of Wasola; maternal grandmother, Kathy Watson, Wasola; maternal grandfather, Daryl Phillips, Ava; paternal grandparents, Brian and Tabitha Smith, Goodhope (Ava); maternal great-grandpa, Ben Shelton, Squires; great-grandmother Sharon Losh, Goodhope; great-great-grandparents, Sammy and Vickie Phillips, Ava, Jean Losh, Goodhope, and Lester Golden, of Illinois.
Graveside service was held Thursday, Dec. 11, at 2 p.m. at Owens Cemetery, Bruner, near Elkhead, with the Bishop Lawrence Miley officiating.
