Helen was born in Longrun, Missouri Helen Griego, 83, entered peacefully into eternal life Saturday morning, Nov. 15.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Griego; her parents, Rev. George and Clara Willhoit; three brothers, Willard, Conley and Howard; and two sisters, Beulah and Opal.
She is survived by her son, Michael Griego; her daughter, Kathleen Jermstad; five adult grandchildren, Sherry Blevins, Nicholas Griego, Jason Griego, Jaime Jermstad, and Kyle Jermstad; four great-grandchildren, Kara, Chris, Stephanie and Jerick; two sisters, Mildred Watson and Joann Livingston; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Helen was born in Longrun, Mo., but spent most of her adult life in California. She was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Alameda, Calif.
Funeral service was held Friday, Nov. 21, at 10 a.m., at Greer Family Mortuary followed by interment at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.
