Bill attended school in Ava William Ellis Suggs, 56, passed away in Houston, Texas, on Oct. 14, 2008, and joined his parents, Harlan and Josephine Suggs; grandparents, William and Tilly Hicks, William and Elizabeth Suggs; sisters, Brenda Suggs Hill and Patricia Harvey.
“Bill” attended school in Ava and continued his career as a truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy; daughters, Barbara Brewer and husband Steven, Donna Dreyer and husband Bryan; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert, Earl and Richard Suggs; sisters, Rita Ege, Dorthy Phillips, Linda Medlock and Annalou Caudill; adopted father, Felix Howard and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 17. Funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18 at Brookside Funeral Home, in Houston, Texas. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
