Noah loved the Lord, music and animals Noah Jabez Cleghorn, 12 years, youngest son of Dale and Elinor Cleghorn, was born on Sept. 12, 1996 in Howell County, Mo., and entered into rest on Oct. 3, 2008.
Noah loved the Lord and attended the Richville Church.
Noah loved music and could carry a tune before he could talk. Learning to play the harmonica by ear, he could repeat almost any song he ever heard. The littlest Cleghorn loved his dogs, cats, ponies, and chickens and had a fascination with all God’s creatures, including insects, fish, crawdaddies, snakes and birds. He also loved working with the family’s Welsh ponies.
Noah looked forward to missionary work in later life. His family and friends miss Noah deeply, but we rest in the knowledge that our heavenly Father sacrificed His only son, Jesus, so that those like Noah, who love and obey Him, can live with Him in the Kingdom of eternal joy.
Noah is survived by his parents to whom he was devoted, Dale Reuben and Elinor (Ward) Cleghorn; two sisters, Melody Dawn and Dorothy Cleghorn; one brother, Donald Cleghorn; and grandmother, Dorothy J. Cleghorn, all of Drury, Mo.; and everyone he met was a friend.
Graveside services for Noah will be Monday, Oct. 13, at 1 p.m. at the Cleghorn Beulah Land Family Cemetery, Drury. Officiating will be Pastor Nathan Quick and Pastor Duane W. Cleghorn. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials as love offerings to the family in care of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, Mo. On line condolences may be made to www.clinkingbeardfuneralhome. com.
