
He adored his children and grandchildren George Kenneth Stout, son of E.T. Stout and Golda Thurman Stout, was born on Dec. 16, 1951, in Mtn. Grove, and passed away on Aug. 27, 2008 in his home at the age of 56 years.
Kenny was a lifelong resident of Douglas County. He was a grader operator for Douglas County Road & Bridge for 23 years, and was currently working for Ozark County Road and Bridge for the last year and a half.
On Oct. 30, 1970, Kenny and Vicky Ann Riley were united in marriage in Gentryville, and to this union three children were born. Kenny was a member of the Gentryville Church of God. He enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing and working in his shop, and he loved telling stories. Kenny adored his family and especially the grandchildren. He delighted in taking his grandchildren on rides around the farm. Kenny loved people and they loved him.
Kenny was preceded in death by his father, E.T. Stout; his grandparents, Jake and Ada Stout, and George and Fila Thurman.
He is survived by his wife, Vicky Stout, of the home in Drury; three children and their spouses, Tina and Andy Boyd, Ava, Missy and Dustin Atchison, Drury, and T.J. and Courtney Stout, Norwood; his mother, Golda Stout, Nixa; 11 grandchildren; one sister and husband, Linda and Doyle Collins, Nixa; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services for Kenny were held Saturday, Aug. 30, at 2 p.m., at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, with Dewayne Borders and Gary Moore officiating. Interment followed in Blanche Cemetery.
