Daughter of Robert Everett Privett and Sarah Privett Marie Privett, daughter of Robert Everett Privett and Sarah Elsie Foster Privett, was born on June 2, 1921, in Ava, and passed away on July 8, 2008 St. Luke’s Hospital, Kansas City.
Marie was a resident of the Kansas City area for 55 years. She was a switchboard operator for a hospital and a member of the Redeemer Fellowship Church of Kansas City.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Marvin Russell Judkins.
Her survivors include one sister, Victoria Louise Casebolt and husband, Dr. John, Lincoln, Neb.; one brother, Samuel Raymond Privett, Wrangel, Alaska; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Service is Friday, July 11, at 1 p.m., at Redeemer Fellowship Church, (formerly First Calvary Baptist) 3921 Baltimore, Kansas City, with Rev. Kris McGee officiating and eulogy given by Gene Oaks. Graveside service will be Saturday, July 12, at 1 p.m., in the Ava Cemetery, with the Rev. Robert Milton Casebolt officiating. Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava.
