Born to Lester and Joy Roberts in Brown Branch, Mo. Frances Pearlene “Penny” Hankins was born to Lester and Joy Roberts in Brown Branch, Mo., on July 11, 1939. She went to be with her Lord May 22, 2008.
She is survived by her loving husband, Lloyd R. Hankins, Ozark; two sons, Dennis Hankins and wife, Tawanna, Rogersville, and David Hankins, Ozark; four grandchildren, Jason Hankins, Tiffany (Hankins) Morisset, Jennifer Hankins, Jordan Hankins; six great-grandchildren, Taylar Morisset, Rhyan Morisset, Madison Morisset, Calen Hankins, Halee Hankins, Jason Hankins, Jr.; two brothers, Gene Roberts, Kansas, and Eddie Roberts, Oldfield; four sisters, Alene Engles, Washington, Rose Mell, California, Gracie Stevens, Ozark, and Marie VanCamp, Ava; and nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a great-grandchild, Skylar Hankins; and a nephew, Kurtis Light.
Visitation was Friday, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Funeral Services were Saturday, May 24, at 10 a.m. in Mentor Baptist Church, Rogersville, with burial in Holland Cemetery.
