A dear grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend Joanna J. Cunningham, formerly of Bradleyville, died April 8, 2008 in De Soto, Mo., at the age of 94. She was the daughter of Elmer and Grace Dale and was born on December 6, 1913 in Lipscomb, Texas. She was the dear wife of the late Leslie Cunningham; beloved mother to Lynn (Jan) Cunningham of Hillsboro, Mo., Glenn (Linda) Cunningham of Willard, Mo., James Cunningham of Eagle Rock, Mo., and Dr. Lewis (Glenda) Cunningham of Mason, Ohio. She will also be remembered as a dear grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a member of the Nazarene Church in Bradleyville, Mo.
Joanna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leslie; two sisters, Alice Murray and Claribel Lemons.
Visitation was Sunday, April 13, from 3 to 5 p.m. in Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava. Services were Monday, April 14, at 2 p.m. in the Nazarene Church in Bradleyville, with the Revs. Vernon Fuller and Ed Hunsaker officiating. Interment was in the Bradleyville Cemetery.
