Born in Ava to John and Rosa Fleetwood Ella May (Patterson) Fleetwood went to be with the Lord on March 3, 2008, in Colorado Springs, Colo., at the age of 94.
She was born in Ava on Oct. 31, 1913, to John and Rosa Fleetwood.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert C. Patterson, and a brother, (King) David Fleetwood, of Ava.
She is survived by her children, Jean Cochran, Ontario, Calif., Niki Layman, Las Vegas, Nev., James Patterson, McMinnville, Ore., Sharon Cook and Paula Peters, both of San Jacinto, Calif., Kathy Schiewe, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Patty Foged, of Gretna, Neb.; 24 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, of Ava.
