Randy Dean Adams, 37

Ava High School graduate Randy Dean Adams, son of Louanna (Byerley) Adams and Robert Nelson Adams, was born on June 20, 1970 in Gainesville, and passed away on March 3, 2008, in his home, Wasola, at the age of 37 years, 8 months and 13 days.

Randy was a resident of the Wasola community for several years. He was an Ava High School graduate. Randy worked on the farm, cut wood and also did tree trimming for Townsend Tree Service. He enjoyed working on the farm, cutting timber, riding his three-wheeler, caring for the cattle, working in the hay and being with his family. Randy was a Christian and raised Baptist. He later became a member of the Catholic Church.

Randy was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Alfred Leonard Byerley and Charles Adams.

He is survived by his mother, Louanna (Byerley) Adams, Wasola; his father, Robert “Bob” Nelson Adams, Ava; a brother, Jeffrey Lee Adams, Springfield; maternal grandmother, Lyda Byerley, Wasola; paternal grandmother, Willene Adams, Ava; an aunt, Judy Johnson, Ava; an uncle, Roy Byerley, Rogersville; other aunts and uncles, relatives and friends.

Graveside service for Randy will be Saturday, March 8, at 10 a.m., at the Girdner Cemetery with the Rev. Oren Alcorn officiating. Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava.
