She was a homemaker
Lori Cantwell, 70, of Thornfield, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2007, at Hospice House in Mtn. Home, Ark.
Mrs. Cantwell was born Oct. 23, 1937, in Yemassee, S.C., the daughter of Daniel and Jewell (Blocker) Moore. She and Merl Cantwell were married Jan. 19, 1961, in Walterboro, S.C.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Cantwell is survived by her husband, Merl; five children, Greg Cantwell, of Columbia, S.C., Al Cantwell, of Louisville, Ky., Kim Youngblood, Jacksonville, Fla., Denise Guenther, West Plains, and Beth Shoemaker, Beaufort, S.C.; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Mary Connley, Anna Lee Connley, and Thelma Keith, all of Beaufort, S.C., and Dot Powell, of Yemassee, S.C.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Randy Cantwell and Al Shoemaker; and one brother, William Moore.
Services were under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville.
