Born May 9, 1958, in Brushyknob, Mo. Richard Lee Elliott, son of Eugene O. Elliott and Letha Mae (Metcalf) Elliott, was born May 9, 1958, in Brushyknob, Mo., and entered his heavenly Father’s Kingdom Nov. 26, 2007 at the age of 49 years, 6 months and 17 days.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Letha and Eugene Elliott, and one sister, Mary Joann Woodard. He was a loving brother and uncle.
He is survived by four brothers, Don Elliott of Mansfield, Kenneth Elliott of Norwood, Roy Elliott of Poplar Bluff, and Dwight Elliott of Oakwood, Ga.; two sisters, Virginia Bell of Mtn. Grove, and Juanita Harwell of Poplar Bluff; as well as several nieces, nephews and many friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, at Evansdale Church east of Ava with Pastor Donald Potter officiating. Interment will follow in the Evansdale Cemetery.
Donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
