Grew up on a farm in western Christian County Doyle Conrad Clemons, age 59, of Nixa, passed away Saturday, Sept. 9, 2007. He was born March 15, 1948, in Gainesville, the son of A.B. and Wanda (Pride) Clemons.
Doyle grew up on a farm in western Christian County and was an avid outdoorsman. In 1966 he graduated from Nixa High School. On Oct. 17, 1969 he and Retha Kay Wyman were united in marriage.
Doyle was employed by Schatz Underground as a heavy equipment operator for many years. He was currently employed by the Christian County Road Department.
Survivors include his wife, Retha; his parents, A.B. and Wanda Clemons, Nixa; a sister, Katrina Clemons, Nixa; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as many friends.
A memorial service was held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
