Formerly of Rome, Mo. L.A. Johnson, 96, formerly of Rome, Mo., died in his home in Hernando, Miss. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen, in 1997.
He is survived by one son and eight daughters. Two daughters, Judy Rhodes and Lucy Massey, graduated from Ava High School. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, including Jesse Woolman, of Ava; and 29 great-grandchildren.
