Served his country during World War II Bernard Charles Bush, the son of Charles Bush and Florence Melissa (Hoard) Bush, was born March 23, 1923, in Lisle, N.Y. He departed this life July 21, 2007, at the age of 84.
Bernard was a resident of Mansfield for the past 35 years. He was employed as a television repairman before his retirement. Bernard served his country during World War II with the U. S. Air Force. He was a member of 449th Bomb Group and 717 Bomb Squadron.
Bernard was preceded in death by his parents.
His survivors include his companion of 28 years, Louise Nicolena Morse, Mansfield; a stepson, James Gonzalez, M.D., Redding, Calif.; four step-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Harper and Madeline Harper, both of Lisle, N.Y.; two brothers, Cleon Bush, Marathon, N.Y., and Walter Bush, Baldwinsville, N.Y. and other relatives and friends.
Cremation services are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava.
