Born on June 19, 1924, in Noble, Mo. Cora Warden, 83, of Richland, Wash., passed away on July 10, 2007, at the Richland Rehabilitation Center. She was born on June 19, 1924, in Noble, Mo. to William P. and Eliza R. Loftis.
After attending Hopper’s Beauty Academy in Springfield, Mo., she managed a beauty shop in Nevada, Mo.
Cora married Leland M. Warden May 21, 1941, and worked at Remington Arms in 1944 while Leland served in the Army Air-corps during WWII. They moved to the Tri-Cities in 1946 and it remained their home for 61 years.
She was a member of Richland Heights Baptist Church.
Cora was also a member of Pasco Eagles since 1979. She loved to dance, was a skillful seamstress and an avid sports fan.
Cora is survived by her children: Jann (Larry) Hughes of Kent, Wash., and Karen (Scott) Samuelson of Kennewick, Wash.; granddaughters, Noell (Frank) Blavka and Bethany Samuelson; brother Everett and sisters Maxine and Earlene of Missouri.
She was preceded in death by husband Leland, brothers Clyde, Clinton and Homer, and sister Esther.
