An automotive mechanic for most of his life Thomas Luther Roberts was born Nov. 8, 1955, in Kremmling, Colo., to Carl and Charlene Kyger Roberts. He departed this life Monday, July 2, 2007 at Citizens Memorial Hospital, Bolivar.
On August 27, 1976, Tom and Jenny Hubbard were married in Springfield, and to this union four children were born.
Tom was an automotive mechanic for most of his life, spending the last few years as a shop foreman at lnland Truck Parts.
Tom enjoyed country life where be could “tinker” with cars and lawnmowers in his own yard. He was passionate about history and particularly World War II shows on TV.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl.
Tom is survived by his wife, Jenny, of the home; one son, Ronnie; and three daughters, Amanda Kay Collier and husband Keith, Mindy Marie Roberts, and Nicole Dawn Roberts; and one grandchild, Tommy Lee Roberts.
He is also survived by his mother, Charlene Roberts; two brothers, Frank Roberts and wife, Patsy, and Leroy Roberts and wife, Maggie; one sister, Kathy Roberts; and a host of relatives and friends.
Graveside services were conducted Thursday, July 5, at 2 p.m., in the Bethel Cemetery, Brownbranch, with burial following.
Arrangements were under the direction of Ava Family Funeral Home.
