Married to Virgil Franklin Sanders, of Ava Evelyn Pauline Sanders, 84, of Pittsburg, Mo., died June 28, 2007, at her home.
She was born July 20, 1922, in Rapid City, S.D., to Richard Paul and Gladys Evelyn Mytinger Langdale. She moved to California at an early age and in 1948, in Las Vegas, Nev., was married to Virgil Franklin Sanders, of Ava.
They made their home in Ontario, Calif. Virgil preceded her in death in 1982. She and her son, Richard and family, moved to the Pittsburg area in 1994.
Survivors include her son, Richard, of Pittsburg; four grandsons, Scott, of Bolivar, Jason, of Springfield, Andrew, of Pittsburg, and Joshua, of Stockton; and seven great-grandchildren.
Evelyn was a member of Prairie Chapel United Methodist Church, Urbana, to which memorial donations may be made.
Arrangements are under the direction of Pitts Chapel, Bolivar.
