Complete obituary Michael James “Mike” Rehard was born Sept. 12, 1987, in Hawthorne, Calif., and departed this life June 6, 2007, from an auto accident at the age of 19.
Mike was a resident of the Ava area for the past three weeks, moving here from Flower Mound, Texas. He was formerly employed with Papa John’s Pizza in Texas. Mike enjoyed riding dirt bikes, driving his dad’s car, and fishing. He loved music and the Archer homestead of the Goodhope community which became his home. Mike was a member of the Lakeland Baptist Church in Lewisville, Texas.
Mike was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Wilma Archer and Dottie and Roy Rehard.
He is survived by his parents, Robert Michael “Bob” Rehard and Sandra J. “Sandy” (Archer) Rehard, Ava; one brother, Timothy Ryan Rehard and wife, Venessa, Ava; several uncles, aunts, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Services for Mike were held Saturday, June 9, at 2 p.m. at the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, with the Pastor Mike Freeman officiating. Interment followed in the Goodhope Cemetery.
