Carol gave her life to the Lord and followed his leading to come to Ava in September 2003. They also shared inspirational emails and did prayer chains back and forth. She loved attending the Ava Church of Christ and learned a lot.
In December 1977 doctors found cancer in Carol, and she battled that cancer for 28 years. In December 2005 they found more cancer which eventually took her from this world.
