A homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church Carolyn Laura Green Horton, age 48, of Wichita Falls, Texas, died Saturday, May 5, 2007, in Wichita Falls.
Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, in the chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Rev. Garrett Kell, pastor of the Graham Bible Church, Graham, Texas, and Rev. Steve Collard, pastor of the Immanuel Baptist Church, Olney, Texas, officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home.
Carolyn was born March 24, 1959, in Catarina, Dimmit County, Texas to Walter Carol and Kathryn Frances (Brown) Green. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church.
She moved to Wichita Falls from Newcastle Texas in 2006.
She was preceded in death by her father, Carol Green, on Nov. 21, 2000.
Survivors include her mother, Kathryn Green of Olney, Texas; three sons, Mark Horton and wife, Kalana of Graham, Texas, Matthew Green, of Olney, Texas, and Joshua Sparks of Dennison, Texas; three daughters, Shayla Corwin and husband, Mark of Olney, Texas, Katie Pierce, of Vernon, Texas, and Michala Sparks of Dennison, Texas; and six grandchildren, Dylan Horton and Camron Horton both of Graham, Texas, Andrea Corwin of Olney, Texas, Austin Horton of Graham, Texas, Taylor Corwin and Laine Corwin, both of Olney, Texas.
