The result of a motor vehicle accident Melinda R. “Mindy” Ryles, 18, of Clinton, died Saturday, March 24, 2007, as the result of a motor vehicle accident. She was born July 1, 1988, in Kansas City, to Frank L. Williams and Vicki L. Riley Williams.
Mindy was a senior at Clinton High School where she played on the soccer team as a freshman and sophomore, and was a member of the Clinton FFA. She loved spending her free time riding horses and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her parents, Terry E. and Vicki L. Ryles of the home; her father, Frank L. Williams, of Bolivar; three stepbrothers, Brent and Brad Williams, both of Wichita, Kan., and Frank Williams II, of Doniphan; three stepsisters, Tanya Faye Ryles, of LaPorte, Texas, Tammy Wayneless, Wichita, Kan., and Marie Williams, of Independence; her maternal grandmother, Betty Jo Riley, of Clinton; paternal grandparents, Bill and Judy Ryles, of Trinity, Texas; aunts and uncles, Tammie and Jeff Williams and family, of Clinton, Cynthia and Russ Riley and family, of Cleveland, Mo., Linda and Rayford Welch, Ava, Janie and John McCallister and family, of Concordia, Mo., and Peggy and Don Coots and family, of Trinity, Texas; a niece, Kathryn McKenna Woods, of LaPorte, Texas; and several other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Mindy was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Robert L. Ryles, on Nov. 4, 2006.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 28, at the Allen Street Baptist Church, in Clinton, conducted by Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home, of Clinton. The family requests memorials to American Heart Association. Online condolences may be left at www.bradley-hadley.com.
