Born March 10, 1975 Hope Lorene Cox, 31, was born March 10, 1975, in Buffalo, and departed this life on Feb. 15, 2007, in St. John’s Hospital, Springfield.
Hope is survived by her mother and step-father Martha and Don Massey of Mountain Grove; her father Keith Cox of Utah; three brothers Gary Cox, Mark Cox and wife Becky, Micha Cox and wife Bailey all of Ava; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Hope was preceded in death by her sister Roxane Marie Cox, brother Steven Aaron Cox, maternal grandparents Clayborn and Flona Metcalf, and paternal grandparents Orville and Effie Cox.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Feb. 19, in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark, with Pastor James Taylor officiating. Burial followed in Rush Cemetery, Seymour. Visitation was held from 1 p.m. until service time in the funeral home.
