Of Seymour Betty Jo (Jackson) Jones, 63, Seymour, died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2006.
She was the daughter of Harley and Ruby Jackson, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Carl Jackson.
On Aug. 2, 1961, she was married at Ava to Willie M. Jones.
Mrs. Jones was a housewife and a member of Seymour Church of the Nazarene where she was involved for many years in charitable volunteer work.
Survivors include children Willa and Sam Lockmon, Mike Jones, Wanda Pering, Mark and Kim Jones and Mathew Jones; three grandchildren, Sam Lockmon Jr., April Batson and Tyrel Jones; one great-grandchild, Eric Lockmon; one brother, Luther and Hazel Jackson; three sisters, Jewel Jones, Helen and Larry Koffman, and Retha and Carl Clements; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and close friends.
A small memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 27 at Seymour Church of the Nazarene.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Seymour Church of the Nazarene building fund in Betty’s name.
