Born Feb. 1, 1937, in Noble, Mo. Shirley Naugle, the daughter of Howard Long and Delphia (Garrison) Long, was born Feb. 1, 1937, in Noble, Mo., and departed this life Dec. 2, 2006, at the age of 69.
Shirley, formerly of Noble, was a resident of Mountain Grove for the past five years. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
On June 17, 1955, Shirley and Aubie Ray Naugle were united in marriage in Gainesville, and to this union six children were born. Shirley was a homemaker and a nurse assistant. She loved to go fishing and was an outdoor girl.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, one brother, one granddaughter, and one great-grandson.
Survivors include her husband, Aubie Naugle, Mountain Grove; six children, Joyce Kleweno, Ensign, Kan., Janet Dowler, Bixby, Okla., Kathy Jantzen, Cimarron, Kan., Gary Naugle and Dennis Naugle both of Mounds, Okla., and Bill Naugle, Mountain Grove; 22 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; one brother, Troy Long, Plano, Texas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, with E.J. Hampton officiating. Interment followed in the Noble Cemetery. The family requests memorials to the American Cancer Society.
