Charles lived in the Ava area for several years Rev. Charles Jefferson Lynn, son of Charles William Lynn and Annabell (Brewer) Lynn, was born Dec. 25, 1921 in Huntsville, Mo., and departed this life Nov. 13, 2006 at the age of 84.
Charles lived in the Ava area for several years. After retirement from the railroad he was employed in concrete construction. He enjoyed church, playing guitar, singing gospel music, witnessing for the Lord and never met a stranger. He attended Oldfield Full Gospel Church.
On June 10, 200l, Charles and Euneeda Heath were united in marriage in Seymour, Mo.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lela Lynn; and three sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Euneeda Lynn, of the home, Ava; one brother, Albert Lynn, Hanna City, Ill.; one sister, Dolores Hurtado, Las Cruces, N.M.; several nieces and nephews, step-children, grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17, in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, with the Rev. Benny DeWitt and Brother Leslie Buckner officiating. Interment will follow in the Ava Cemetery. Visitation will be today (Thursday) from 6 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorials may be to Bible Way Association, Donovan, Mo.
