Formerly of Ava Cora Nelson, 71, of San Jose, Calif., formerly of Ava, passed away Sept. 25, 2006.
Cora moved to Ava with her husband, George D., when he retired. In 2001 she moved to California.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one son.
Cora is survived by two sons, George E., of Taylorsville, Utah, and Ronald, of San Jose, Calif.; two daughters, Pamela James, of Big Lakes, Minn., and Patricia Marcum, of Aurora; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Also surviving are two sisters and one brother.
Services will be held at a later date.
