Junior was a lifelong resident of Wasola Frank B. Snelson Jr. the son of Frank B. Snelson Sr. and Hazel Olive (Pruitt) Snelson was born Oct. 11, 1950 in Wasola, and departed this life Aug. 10, 2006, at the age of 55.
Junior was a lifelong resident of Wasola.
On Feb. 27, 1970 Junior and Pamela Kay Camden were united in marriage in Wasola. Junior and Pamela were blessed with three children.
Junior was a member of Oak Grove General Baptist Church. He loved being with his family and he enjoyed hunting and going fishing and being on the family homestead, which has been in the family over 100 years. Junior was a dairy and beef farmer for over 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
His survivors include his wife, Pamela; two sons, John Snelson, Wasola, Jason Snelson and wife, Heather, Ava; one daughter, Julie Snelson, Wasola; four grandchildren, ReAunna, Johnathon, Sydney and Brandt; four sisters, Charlotte Jones, Searcy Ark., Beverly Bushong, Bartlesville, Okla., Pat Squibb, League City, Texas, and Jennifer Kindley, Bartlesville, Okla.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services were at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 14, in the Oak Grove General Baptist Church with the Revs. Robert Roberts and Ron Felker officiating. Interment was in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be made to an education fund for the daughter, Julie. Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava.
