Carol Streeter, 50

A resident of Ava, for the past eight years Carol Streeter, daughter of Bill and Lorraine (Pickert) Daniels, was born Sept. 28, 1955, in Binghamton, N.Y., and passed away of breast cancer on July 4, 2006 at the age of 50.

Carol was a resident of Ava, for the past eight years, moving here from North Carolina. Carol and Stephen Streeter were married in Longmont, Colo., and to this union three children were born.

Carol loved gardening, flowers, writing, and raised dogs in kennels. She was a member of the Latter-day Saints Church in Ava.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen.

Her survivors include three children, Eric Streeter, of Michigan, and Sonja and Elisabeth Streeter, both of Ava; her parents, Gerald William Daniels and Lorraine Audrey (Pickert) Daniels, Loudon, Tenn.; and one brother, William Robert Daniels, Watertown, Wisc.

Memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, July 7, in the Latter-day Saints Church, Ava, with Bishop Jerold Brown officiating. Cremation is under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
