Formerly of Ava Allie Agnes Brown, 90, of Oak Grove, Mo., formerly of Ava, passed away June 12, 2006.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. today (Thursday) at the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Ava. Graveside services will immediately follow in the Souder Cemetery, Souder, Mo. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Church of Christ in Ava, or to Continua Hospice, Kansas City.
Mrs. Brown was born Feb. 21, 1916, in Brixey, Mo. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Osborn C. Brown, and two sisters.
Survivors include her son, Raymond R. Brown, Grain Valley, Mo., and a grandson, Danny Brown, St. Joseph.
Arrangements are under the direction of Park Lawn Funeral Home in the Kansas City area and Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava.
