From the Brushyknob community Robert D. Stonerock was born Sept. 5, 1924, in Circleville, Ohio, one of eight sons born to the family.
He passed away May 20, 2006.
He joined the U.S. Army Air Corps in 1942 and retired in 1969 from the U.S. Air Force. In 1970 the family retired to the Brushyknob community.
Robert is survived by his wife of 62 years, Elizabeth (Betty) Stonerock; three children, Robert, Delores and Tony; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Ralph, in April 2003.
