Beloved children of William Eugene Crites Jr. and Lisa Michelle (Long) Crites Raquela Nicole “Kelly” Crites was born June 1, 1988 in Pordenone, Italy, and Thomas William Crites was born Sept. 29, 2004 in Branson, the beloved children of William Eugene Crites Jr. and Lisa Michelle (Long) Crites, and went to be with the Lord on March 22, 2006. Kelly was 17 years, 9 months, and 21 days. Thomas was 1 year, 5 months, and 23 days.
Kelly enjoyed history, archeology, music, traveling and loved England. Kelly was a member of the Ava General Baptist Church.
Thomas loved to dance, play cars, Play Station, Sesame Street and sing in choir. He also loved playing with his kitty, Jasper and Riley his dog.
Kelly and Thomas are survived by their parents, William and Lisa, and a sister, Krystiana Crites, all of the home, Ava; maternal grandparents, Julia Long, Liberal, Mo., and Norman and Grace Long, Girard, Kan.; paternal grandparents Virginia Willette Crites, Ava, and William and Amy Crites, Salina, Kan.; paternal great-grandfather, Willard Coplin, Bonne Terre, Mo.,; aunts and uncles; and Kelly’s boyfriend, Timothy Henry; and a host of other friends.
A memorial service was held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 27, in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, with the Rev. Oren Alcorn officiating. Memorials may be made to the Ava General Baptist Church.
