Daughter of William and Beulah (Hunt) Grabeel M. Rosalie (Grabeel) Huffman, the daughter of William and Beulah (Hunt) Grabeel, was born April 20, 1924, in San Bernardino, Calif., and departed this life March 10, 2006, at the age of 81.
Rosalie was a resident of the Ava area for most of her life. She was a member of Highway Church of the Nazarene.
On May 22, 1965, Rosalie and Kelly Huffman were united in marriage in Ava. She was employed as a school teacher for 45 years. Rosalie loved teaching and gardening.
Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Billy J. Grabeel.
Her survivors include her husband of 41 years, Kelly Huffman, of the home, Ava; two nephews, Tim Grabeel and Steve Grabeel; two nieces, Faith White and Joe Grabeel; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, with the Rev. Brian Letsinger officiating. Interment was in the Ava Cemetery.
Visitation was Monday, from 1 p.m. to service time. Memorials may be made to Gideons International.
