Mary Permelia Boker, 90

Born Feb. 2, 1916 in Santa Anna, Texas Mary Boker the daughter of William Samuel Dupre and Fannie Frances (Moore) Dupre, was born Feb. 2, 1916 in Santa Anna, Texas, and departed this life March 7, 2006, in Ava, at the age of 90.

Mary lived in Arizona for 37 years before moving to Ava. She moved to Ava in 1984. Mary and Charlie Everett Casady were united in marriage in 1930 in View, Texas. In 1967 Mary and Henry Boker were united in marriage in Cottonwood, Ariz.

Mary was a housewife and a member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Ava. Mary loved traveling across the U.S. and growing roses. Mary also enjoyed teaching Sunday school.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Charlie Everett Casady in 196l, her second husband, Henry Boker in 1972, two sons, Charles Casady in l994 and Bud Casady in l994.

Mary is survived by one son, Aron Lee Casady, Cottonwood, Ariz.; one daughter-in-law, Euvenia Casady, Ava; six grandchildren, Debbie Hall and John, Pueblo, Colo., Dean Casady and Wanda, Rogersville, Janet Burris and Norman, Cornville, Ariz., James Casady, Chandler, Ariz., John Casady and Brenda, Ava, Molly Potter and Richard, Squires; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday March 10, in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, with the Rev. Ron Pinckney officiating. Interment will follow in the Girdner Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. Memorials may be made to Girdner Cemetery.
