Born August 16, 1921, in Bradleyville Hazel L. Turner, 83, of Taneyville, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2006, at Skaggs Community Hospital in Branson. She was born August 16, 1921, in Bradleyville, the daughter of William and Margaret (Cranfill) Clayton.
Mrs. Turner was a lifetime resident of Taney County, she owned and operated a general store at Bradleyville. She was a member of the General Baptist Church in Bradleyville, and a loving mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all.
Hazel is survived by three sons, Jerry Turner and wife Joan, of Ozark, Gail Turner and wife Connie, of Aurora, Tony Turner and wife Patti, of Powersite; one daughter, Debbie Wilkey and husband Jim, of Forsyth; ten grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; two sisters, Glissie Bilyeu, of Ozark, and Betty Wilson, of Memphis, Tenn.; one brother, Otto Clayton, of Moline, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Orville “O. M.”; and brother, Clifford Clayton; step-brother, Earl Clayton; and sister, Audry Roberts.
Funeral services were Tuesday, March 7, 2 p.m., at the Forsyth Whelchel Chapel. Burial was at the New Blair Cemetery at Bradleyville.
