Born to William and Anna Singleton Lola B. Rippee passed away Saturday, Feb. 18, 1006, at the age of 99 years.
She was born to William and Anna Singleton at Younger, Okla., on June 24, 1906.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Huey Rippee; sons, Homer Rippee and Dick Rippee; daughters, Dorothy Ferguson and Virginia Winger; grandchildren, Sandy Nesler and Mike Allen; sister, Golda Hancock; and a brother, Norville Singleton.
She is survived by grandchildren, David Rippee, Kim Rosen, Sue Maness, Mike Ferguson, Tracy Ferguson, Sherry Jones, Rick Rippee, and Debra Grove-Kieffer; 12 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; two sons-in-law, Jerry Ferguson, of Florida, and Bill Winger, of Kansas; two daughters-in-law, Noella Rippee, of Wichita, Kan., and Judy Rippee, of Augusta, Kan.; a sister-in-law, Opal Singleton, of Ava; and numerous nieces and nephews in the Ava area.
Funeral services were held at the Hillside Funeral Home in Augusta, Kan on Tuesday, Feb. 21 at 1:30. Burial was in the Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta, Kan.
Memorials may be made to the Lakepoint Nursing Center Activity Fund, Augusta, Kan.
