Born July 26, 1925, in Ava Marvin Vernon Stillings, 80, Salina, Kan., died Monday, Dec. 19, 2005.
Mr. Stillings was born July 26, 1925, in Ava. He was a truck driver for Gooch Milling for 36 years, retiring in 1986.
Survivors include his wife, Elsie R., of the home; three sons, Harry D. Stillings, Dallas, Texas, Billy D. Johnston, of Hutchinson, Kan., and Byron J. Johnston, of Salina, Kan.; two daughters, Lynnea B. Clark, of Grandview, and Lee A. Burwell, of Salina, Kan.; three brothers, Vernie, of Salina, Kan., Dale, of Cassville, and Harrison of Springfield; five sisters, Bethene Mitchell, Hillsboro, Ore., Fern Dorman, Salina, Kan., Marie McDonald, Carrolton, Texas, Imogene Winters, Ozark, and Janet Jones, Oldfield; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today (Thursday) at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, Salina, Kan. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery.
