A resident of Douglas County since September 2003 Eric Allen “Ziggy” Catledge, the son of Larry Catledge and Brenda Kaye (Childress) Catledge, was born Sept. 23, 1975 in Memphis, Tenn., and departed this life Nov. 2, 2005 in Mansfield, at the age of 30.
Eric was a resident of Douglas County since September 2003, moving here from Memphis, Tenn. He was a framing carpenter employed with Penhart Construction Co. Eric loved canoeing and fishing but above all he loved his daughter, Haylee Kaye.
Eric was preceded in death by both his parents.
He is survived by his daughter, Haylee Kaye Catledge, of Bolivar, Tenn., his Aunt, Nancy Causey and husband, Don, Ava; one brother, Justin Moore and wife, Misty, Bartlett, Tenn.; his stepfather, Edward E. Moore, Memphis, Tenn.; a special cousin whom was like a sister, April Brumfield, Ava; nephews, Sean Moore and Brandon Brumfield; aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, with the Rev. Tom Johnson officiating. Interment followed in the Fannon Cemetery.
