Lealaena R. Holt was born April 8, 1986, at Mansfield. She entered into eternal rest Sept. 24, 2005, at the age of 19.
She graduated from West Plains High School with the class of 2004 and was attending Missouri State University. On Oct. 31, 2003, she was married to Edmund Holt. To this union was born one son, Aedyn Holt. She enjoyed family, and her favorite pastime was spent loving her son. Mrs. Holt was a Christian and enjoyed the time she worshipped in church.
Laena is survived by her husband, Eddie Holt, and son, Aedyn, of the family home; her mother, Rebecca Hallmark, West Plains; her father, Paul, of Newport Beach, Calif.; her grandmother Verla Hallmark, Ava; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harold and Tanya Holt , West Plains; uncles Michael Hammon and family, Ava, Joe Hallmark and family, Marshfield, and Les Hallmark and family, Ava; aunts Lesley Ann Lathum and family, Gainesville, Lorrie D. Hallmark and family, Mansfield, and Lisa and family, of the Holts, West Plains.
Her family also represents many cousins with whom she shared much love and joyful times.
Memorial services were held in Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, West Plains, with a full house of friends attending and the Rev. Les Hallmark speaking the memorial and gospel message. Graveside closing message was given in Oak Lawn Cemetery, West Plains, by the Rev. Francis Warren.
