Georganna L. Lucero, the daughter of George Lucero and Sharon (Watson) Lucero, was born Dec. 23, 1966, in West Virginia, and departed this life Sept. 6, 2005, at the age of 38.
Georganna was a resident of the Ava area for the past 13 years, moving here from Denver, Colo. Georganna was employed as a bail bondsman. She was a homemaker and mother. Georganna attended the Baptist Church.
Georganna was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon Lucero, in 1997.
She is survived by three children, Tawnie Lucero, Springfield, Josh Christensen and Veronica Christensen, both of West Plains; two stepsons, Boo Christensen, Denver, Colo., Colby Christensen, Lincoln, Neb.; one grandson, Conner Rogers, Springfield; her father, George Lucero, Denver, Colo.; two brothers, Shane and Bobby Lucero, both of Denver, Colo.
Services will be Saturday, Sept. 10, at 2 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, with Pastor Richard Rhoades officiating. Interment will follow in the Arno Cemetery.
