Eula S. Fletcher, daughter of Melvis Naugle and Lucy Loftis Naugle, was born on Nov. 16, 1917, in Ozark County, and passed away on July 17, 2005, in Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center in Ava, at the age of 87.
Eula was a housewife and homemaker. She was a resident of the Ava community for several years, moving from Oregon.
In 1934 Eula and Cecil Fletcher were united in marriage in Ozark County, and to this union one son was born.
Eula loved her home and caring for her flowers. She was a Christian and of the Baptist Faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Cecil, one brother, Ralph Naugle, one sister, Grace, and a son, Carmen.
Her survivors include two grandsons; two sisters, Pauline Murrill, Ava, and Faye Willbanks, Springfield; one brother, Lawrence Naugle, also of Springfield; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 19, at the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, with the Rev. Tom Johnson officiating. Interment was in Loftis Cemetery in Ozark County. Services were conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava.
